Let's see, billions for Bear Stearns now 1 Trillion for Fannie &Freddie - one day the tax payer cash cow is going to run dry! Why don't they go after the owners of Golden West Financial and put them in jail for contributing to this mess, take the $25B Wachovia paid them and use that to bail these people out. While they are at it - go after Angelo Mozilo of Country Wide and all the others who made millions while the going was good at the expense of dumb borrowers who bit off more than they could chew....(Continue)
