Most of the previous articles in this series have focused on price as reflected by a series of bars or lines on a basic bar chart, each bar showing the high, low and closing price for a designated period. Taken together, these individual bars represent the mass psychology of the marketplace, sometimes showing up on charts as trends or patterns or just choppy action.

When I teach a Forex class, we cover all of the needed information and techniques, and I try to create a real trading room atmosphere. I've spent a fair amount of time in trading rooms and that’s where I really learned how to trade. The point of the class is not to teach a lot of theories but to apply what we learn in the real world and approach every day and every situation as if big money were on the line.
