Akeena Solar rallies in last hour of trading to break above 50- and 200-day moving averages

(RTTNews) - Akeena Solar, Inc. (AKNS) traded flat through the first 90 minutes of trading before floating to a slightly higher range. In the last 50 minutes the stock began climbing and has picked up strong volume in the last ten minutes.

The stock is at $7.28 up $1.44 from Thursday.

The advance has taken the stock above both its 50- and 200-day moving averages and to its highest level since mid-April.
